Captain Sim Boeing 757-300
PAYWARE
The Boeing 757 is a medium to long haul narrow body commercial passenger jet aircraft. The 757 was launched to replace the 727 and entered service in 1983. The production of the 757 has ceased in 2004. Blended winglets are available as a retrofit to increase fuel efficiency and range.

Captain Sim's Boeing 757-300 is a very detailed and realistic aircraft model. The exterior model is beautifully designed and the liveries (7) are extremely high in quality. The base package contains the 757-300 with virtual cockpit, but without 2d panel and engine sounds. Those are optional and can by purchased separately. The 757-200 version is not required, but some features like the 2d panel will not work without it.

The flight dynamics are excellent and representing the characteristics of it's real world counterpart very well. The virtual cockpit looks very realistic and all buttons are clickable. Besides the virtual cockpit, you can access the galley, lavatory and a part of the passenger cabin (if you don't have the 757-200 version installed, you can only access the cockpit). Many systems are simulated, some of them include visual animations, like moving window wipers that can be seen in the virtual cockpit and the exterior view modes. Many other animations on the exterior model (see screenshot #6) are programmed, you can access them from a separate 2d panel.

There are a few different models: General Electric and Pratt & Whitney powered versions and winglet and non-winglet versions. For a detailed aircraft like this one, you will need a quite fast computer, especially when you're flying from the virtual cockpit. In the 2d panel mode, the frame rate should be ok on a modest system.
