The Boeing 777 is a long haul wide-body commercial passenger jet aircraft. It can carry between 301 and 550 passengers over a distance of max. 17,446 Km. The 777 was launched to fill the gap between the 767-300ER and the 747-400. The first 777 entered service with United Airlines in 1995.
PSS is famous for their high quality panels. Their Boeing 777 is no exception, the panel and virtual cockpit are very detailed and realistic - all buttons in the virtual cockpit are clickable. Many if not all cockpit systems are modeled, including FMC, TCAS, weather radar, etc. There are animations like moving window wipers that can be seen in the virtual cockpit and the exterior view modes. However, the exterior model is not very well designed and the liveries (which are not free!) are not that good either. The package (Just Flight 777 Professional) contains the 777-200LR, 777-200LRF (Freighter) and 777-300ER.
The flight dynamics are excellent and representing the characteristics of it's real world counterpart very well.
Like a few other aircraft developed by PSS, the 2d panel seems to use a lot cpu power, so you need a fast computer in order to fly this aircraft smoothly. There is a separate model without a virtual cockpit, but it doesn't help much.
You can purchase this aircraft on the PSS website and on the Just FLight website, which is a publisher. |
