Jet City Aircraft McDonnell Douglas DC-9-40/50
PAYWARE
The McDonnell Douglas DC-9 is a short to medium range, narrow body commercial passenger jet aircraft. The development project of the DC-9 launched in 1963 was intended as a short-range companion for the larger DC-8. The 70 seat DC-9-10 was the initial variant and entered service with launch customer Delta Air Lines in 1965. When the production of the DC-9 ended in 1982, a total of 976 DC-9 variants were built.

Jet City Aircraft is a small developer of MS Flight Simulator add-ons. Their products are all members of the MD-80 family, from the DC-9-10 to the Boeing 717. These DC-9 models are part of the "Jet City Collections: The DC-9 Complete Package". This package contains all DC-9 variants including the military C-9 and 18 liveries (more liveries can be downloaded for free).

No panel, virtual cockpit or sound is included, so you'll have to use the default panel/sound or download a panel/sound package yourself. The flight dynamics are excellent and all animations are accurate. The exterior is very well shaped and the liveries are high quality. With the wingfold command, ground service vehicles show up around the aircraft.
