FFX/SGA 737-500
review
The Boeing 737 is a popular medium-range, narrow body commercial passenger jet aircraft. The Boeing 737-500 was launched in 1987. With the same fuselage length of the 737-200, the 737-500 was a modern replacement of the old 737-200s with a host of new improvements like more fuel efficient CFM56 turbofan engines, redesigned wing with improved aerodynamics and flight deck improvements.
FFX/SGA developed a simple but frame rate friendly 737-500 model for FS. All the usual animations are present, like opening doors. The flight dynamics are quite easy, but the climb performance is way too high. Also, the thrust reverse is not very realistic, when the thrust reversers are engaged, N1 is going up all the way to 100% (should be something between 60-70% N1). So you might even be able to get airborne backwards!
