AFS-design A350
review
AFS-design is a German developer of various addons voor MS Flight Simulator. Their Airbus A350 is a simple aircraft, but at least looks more like the real (well, like the Airbus computer renderings we've seen so far) a350 than the one of Abacus Publishing. The exterior looks ok, although there aren't many details and the livery textures are not bad.
The panel is simple, many default gauges are used and the garmin gps is integrated into the panel. A simple FMC can be used in autoflight and it automatically imports the fs flightplan. The virtual cockpit is very simple with only a few animations. For example, the rudder pedals aren't moving. The vc textures are not very good either.
Since the A350 is still op paper, there is no way to tell if the flightdynamics are realistic. But the aircraft responds well to control inputs, it flies like an average jet in fs. The way how the main landing gear will be designed is also unknown at this time, but it will be far from the main landing gear animation of this aircraft model: it is floating and doesn't have suspension.
