Jet City Aircraft MD-90

review

The McDonnell Douglas MD-90 is a short to medium range, narrow body commercial passenger jet aircraft. Although the MD-90 is with being 5 feet longer than the MD-88 the largest member of the MD-80 family, it still holds 153 to 172 passengers. The MD-90 program was launched in 1988 and besides the increased length it features more powerful, quieter and fuel efficient IAE V2525D5 engines. The MD-90 also features an EFIS glass cockpit based on that in the MD-88. The MD-90 remained in production until 2001.

Jet City Aircraft is a small developer of MS Flight Simulator add-ons. Their products are all members of the MD-80 family, from the DC-9-10 to the Boeing 717. The McDonnell Douglas MD-90 is part of the "Jet City Collections: The MD-80 and MD-90" package. This package contains the MD-81/82/83/87/88/90 models and 2 liveries per model (more liveries can be downloaded for free).

No panel, virtual cockpit or sound is included, so you'll have to use the default panel/sound or download a panel/sound package yourself. Another option is to purchase the Lago Maddog which panel and sound can be used in combination with the Jet City Aircraft models. The flight dynamics are excellent and all animations are accurate. The exterior is very well shaped and the liveries are high quality. With the wingfold command, ground service vehicles show up around the aircraft.
