Libardo Guzman & friends Concorde

review

The Concorde was a supersonic passenger airliner developed by Arospatiale and British Aircraft Corporation (BAC). Although the Concorde was not the first supersonic passenger airliner, it was the more successful of the only two supersonic airliners to have ever operated commercially, the Russian Tupolev Tu-144 being the other. Despite the excellent safely record, the Concorde operations ceased 24 October 2003 due to low passenger numbers following the type's only crash (on 25 July 2000). Also, the slump in air travel following the September 11 attacks and rising maintenance costs made the retirement of the Concorde unavoidable.

Libardo Guzman with the help of his friends developed this freeware Concorde for both FS9 and FSX (except the panel). The exterior is detailed, especially the landing gear and the textures are so-so. The 2D panel is okay, but the VC is simple, only the most basic gauges and a few basic buttons and levers are clickable. The wings and in fact, the whole exterior model is modeled into the VC, so you can view the wings but not inside the cabin because the windows are opaque. There is also a bug, almost the whole landing gear plunges into the runway when you put the nose gear down after a landing, so just lower the nose gear gently onto the runway.

    notes

The FS9 panel works with FSX as well, you just need a few FS9 gauges: concorde.gau and lear45.gau. Those gauges can be downloaded for free as shown below.

I agree with Peter. this one has a problem with speed. I get an overspeed warning everytime I take it up. but the FSfrance concorde is wayyy too large a file for me
